Smiley World and Wave Gear have collaborated to create a fantastic range of contemporary fashion watches in 18 different color combinations.
Using a Seiko (YMI) PC21 quartz movement, the watches have a stainless steel screw in case-back and screw-in crown which improves water resistance and endurance. The cases and straps are made from polycarbonate, creating a robust, but light feel.
Each watch comes in a striking presentation tube together with a 12 month warranty, Watch Stand and a Happy Time Smiley stress ball.

The Smiley "Happy Time" Story
On the first day of January 1972, the popular French newspaper ‘France Soir’ began printing a small logo next to its news stories as an indicator to denote positive and happy news. It gave readers a head-start to finding the right feature articles to brighten each morning and start the day with a smile. It is a simple notion based on a bright yellow cartoon depiction of a smiley face, which over four decades transformed into a phenomena.
